Job Summary
Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for long-term care opportunities in Lutz, FL. This position offers competitive pay, consistent scheduling, and the opportunity to work a dedicated assignment with one of our healthcare partners.

Responsibilities
An LPN working a contract through Elite Medical Staffing at a long-term care facility may be expected to:
- Utilize EMR to record patients’ medical information and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor resident health status and promptly report significant changes in condition
- Provide direct nursing care and clinical support within scope of practice
- Assist with resident assessments and implementation of individualized care plans
- Accurately document medications, treatments, observations, and resident responses
- Collaborate with CNAs, medication aides, physicians, and other healthcare team members
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers regarding resident needs
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active LPN license
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in long-term care
- Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
- Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
Credentials Required
- Active and unencumbered FL LPN License or Compact LPN License
- Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
- CPR/BLS
- Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
