Job Summary
Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for ICF/ID opportunities in Unadilla, GA. This position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and the ability to pick up shifts that fit your availability.

Responsibilities
An LPN picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID) or group home may be expected to:
- Utilize EMR to record patients’ medical information and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and scope of practice
- Monitor individuals' health status and report significant changes in condition to appropriate healthcare providers
- Provide direct nursing care and support individuals' ongoing healthcare needs
- Assist with health assessments and implementation of individualized care and support plans
- Collaborate with direct support professionals, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Educate individuals and caregivers on health management, medications, and wellness practices as appropriate
- Accurately document medications, treatments, observations, and individual responses
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active LPN license
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in an ICF/ID setting
- Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
- Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
Credentials Required
- Active and unencumbered GA LPN License or Compact LPN License
- Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
- CPR/BLS
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test
- DBHDD Prints
- Resume
- Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
