Job Summary

Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) for inpatient rehab opportunities in Benton, AR. This position offers competitive pay, consistent scheduling, and the opportunity to work a dedicated assignment with one of our healthcare partners.

Responsibilities
A PTA working contract through Elite Medical Staffing at an inpatient rehab facility may be expected to:

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility interventions
  • Monitor resident responses to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising therapist
  • Reinforce prescribed therapy programs and resident safety practices
  • Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic activities and mobility techniques as directed
  • Accurately document treatment sessions and resident responses
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards
  • Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active PTA license
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in inpatient rehab
  • Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
  • Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
  • Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations


Credentials Required

  • Active and unencumbered AR PTA License or Compact PTA License
  • Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
  • CPR/BLS
  • Resume
  • Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
