Job Summary

Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDNs) for ICF/ID opportunities in Miami, FL.

Responsibilities

An RDN working a contract through Elite Medical Staffing at an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID) or group home may be expected to:

  • Utilize EMR to record patients’ medical information and vital signs
  • Assess individuals' health status and coordinate nursing care to support ongoing healthcare needs
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
  • Supervise and provide clinical guidance to LPNs, CNAs, Direct Support Professionals, and other caregiving staff
  • Monitor individuals for changes in health status and coordinate appropriate medical follow-up and interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, guardians, and community providers to support person-centered care
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, care coordination activities, and individual outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active RDN license
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an ICF/ID setting
  • Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
  • Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
  • Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Active and unencumbered FL RDN License or Compact RDN License
  • Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
  • CPR/BLS
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Test
  • Hepatitis A Antibody Igm
  • Hepatitis B Core Antibody
