Job Summary
Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Speech Language Pathologist (SLPs) for skilled nursing opportunities in Lutz, FL. This position offers competitive pay, consistent scheduling, and the opportunity to work a dedicated assignment with one of our healthcare partners.

Responsibilities
An SLP working contract through Elite Medical Staffing at a skilled nursing facility may be expected to:
- Utilize EMR to record patients' medical information and vital signs
- Evaluate residents for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified communication and swallowing needs
- Provide speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy based on resident needs and treatment goals
- Assess swallowing function and recommend appropriate dietary modifications and swallowing strategies
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and goals
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and communication strategies
- Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and resident outcomes
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active SLP license
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing
- Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
- Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
Credentials Required
- Active and unencumbered FL SLP License
- Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
- CPR/BLS
- Resume
- Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
