Job Summary
Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for assisted living opportunities in Dayton, OH. This position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and the ability to pick up shifts that fit your availability.

Responsibilities
An LPN picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at an assisted living facility may be expected to:
- Utilize EMR to record patients’ medical information and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor resident health status and report significant changes in condition
- Provide direct nursing care within scope of practice and facility guidelines
- Assist with resident assessments and implementation of individualized service plans
- Accurately document medications, treatments, and resident observations
- Collaborate with caregivers, medication aides, and other healthcare team members
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active LPN license
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in assisted living
- Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
- Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
Credentials Required
- Active and unencumbered OH LPN License or Compact LPN License
- Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
- CPR/BLS
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test
- Flu Vaccine (during Flu season)
- Covid-19 Vaccine (religious/medical exemptions accepted)
- Resume
- Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
